The series is set in the year 2517, after the arrival of humans in a new star system, and follows the adventures of the renegade crew of Serenity, a “Firefly-class” spaceship. The ensemble cast portrays the nine characters who live on Serenity. Join the dynamic and delightful hosts Tom Fox and Megan Dougherty as they dive into the latest episode of Firefly in their podcast, Because That’s What Heroes Do!

In this episode of the show, Mal had an intuition that Jayne was going to betray the crew, and his suspicions were confirmed when Jane sold the siblings out for a significant reward. Despite this, the Serenity team was able to rescue the siblings, and Simon praised Jayne for his efforts, unaware of his betrayal. The crew was able to achieve their criminal objectives and get a win, but it came at a heavy price. Tom Fox and Megan Dougherty discussed the episode, exploring the interpersonal issues between the characters and the consequences of Jayne’s betrayal.
