Roy Snell recently retired as the CEO of the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) and the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE). Together these associations now total more than 15,000 members. Roy was a co-founder and the organization’s first President.
Roy joins us from his home in Minneapolis.

They talk about a wide range of issues facing modern companies including the response to COVID-19 and how compliance officers have a role to play in modern business. They talk about the 4 essential elements for a compliance officer outlined in Integrity Works and give real-life examples including the need to identify ‘helpful liars’ when dealing with compliance issues. They also talk about critical thinking and how to think and act in a crisis.
