She has over 20 years of management experience in various industries including health care, food service, and not-for-profit associations in creating, designing, implementing, and operating world-class ethics and compliance programs including board governance and reporting, designing instructor-led and online ethics education, creating policy management frameworks, implementing conflict of interest processes, managing enterprise and compliance risk processes as well as handling investigations and regulatory agency inquiries.

She is the Vice President – Global Ethics & Compliance Program for Cushman & Wakefield, a commercial real estate company with 52,000 employees in 60 countries. Her responsibilities include developing the global ethics & compliance strategy, developing education to foster a culture of integrity, managing third party due diligence, as well as conflicts of interest.

Mike P. Halbach is a Compliance & Risk Management Advisor and Trading Expert with over 30 years of in-house experience across US-based and global industrial and commodity trading firms. His career has focused on helping trading organizations navigate complex regulatory environments while supporting commercial teams with robust, practical, and business-enabling compliance solutions.

Mike has worked extensively across physical and financial markets, including agriculture, energy, metals, and emissions, with hands-on experience in major trading venues such as CME/CBOT, MATIF, ICE (globally), BMD, SGX, and the LME.

Today, he is a Partner at Sybius Consulting, a Geneva-based boutique consultancy advising more than 30 clients worldwide — including listed producers, commodity trading firms, and quantitative hedge funds — and delivering tailored compliance frameworks and regulatory insight grounded in deep market expertise.

Forrest Deegan is an accomplished Legal, Risk & Compliance executive who has succeeded by partnering with business leaders to build high performing teams, drive organizational enhancement, and reduce risk.

After ten years in private practice with Arnold & Porter, Forrest became the first-ever Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer (CECO) for Abercrombie & Fitch and then Victoria’s Secret. Most recently, Forrest was the CECO for Albemarle Corp. At all three companies, Forrest was a member of the legal leadership team and supported third party risk and supply chain transparency efforts.

Forrest is currently a Lecturer at the University of Chicago School of Law, where he teaches a course entitled “Corporate Compliance and Business Integration” and is the Co-Chair of the ABA’s Corporate Compliance & Ethics Subcommittee of the Business Law Section.

Forrest received his J.D. with honors from Duke Law School and his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. Forrest is married to a world-class litigator (Ryan Richardson) and loves spending time with her and their 3 kiddos.

Prior to joining Ethisphere, Emily spent over a decade advising global corporations on ethical culture, program effectiveness, and codes of conduct. Most recently, she was a Vice President and leader of LRN Corporation’s advisory practice. Her earlier career was spent in the environmental science and sustainability sectors, both in non-profit and academia, where a highlight was contributing to drafting international climate policy goals as part of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

She previously held senior leadership roles at the U.S. Department of Justice, including Principal Deputy Chief of the Health Care Fraud Unit, where she supervised nationwide white-collar and fraud prosecutions and helped shape DOJ enforcement and training initiatives.
